Sunroom Furniture & Decor

One of my loyal customers called to ask if I could furnish this space for their morning coffees & evening wine time. With such a narrow small space, lounge chairs would not fit, so right away I knew what I wanted to create for this romantic couple who just love going downtown to pubs on a Friday night!

A 3D visual rendering was sent to them and within minutes, I got the response I love hearing - 'we love it!'

The textured multi coloured area rug was chosen to coordinate with the art piece and the contemporary brushed stainless steel & glass top pub table with two swivel bar stools in vegan leather fit the purpose of the room perfectly.

The interesting cement candle holder adds the warmth & romantic touch they will love to sit around.

Next on their wish list is a panel track blind I suggested for the large patio door.

New Home Furniture & Decor

This new homeowner and mother of three needed some help finding and purchasing new furniture for her living room, dining room, kitchen and office. So, after receiving a few photos of the rooms, Deborah discussed the style she was looking for along with her budget so the process could begin. Mood boards and a summary with pricing was presented, discussed, and then amended to suit her best. Even though she didn't purchase all the items right away, she now has a running wish list of future purchases. She is relieved to know she can just call when she is ready to finish decorating her new home.

These homeowners wanted suggestions for hardwood flooring, an update to her staircase - carpet and railing ideas that would complement her existing furniture and decor. She also wanted to plan for future purchases: dining room table and chairs, as well as a new kitchen table and chair set.

Custom Furniture, Decor, Updated Countertop & Flooring

This loyal customer has worked with Deborah to select this gorgeous marble countertop and flooring and the solid maple Ruff Sawn dining table and chairs upholstered in copper faux leather to match the copper decorative accessories in the kitchen. The copper glowing light fixtures completed the look and enhanced the ambiance of a very beautiful family time room.

Custom media unit by Ruff Sawn was also purchase in a weathered grey stain to create a more casual feel to the sunroom off the kitchen.

Custom area rugs for both the living and dining room were designed by the client and Deborah to create the exact luxurious pattern and feel desired. Custom sofas for the living room are in the works.

The dining room table that seats eight is very formal with the satin like upholstery and custom draperies.

Custom draperies in the living room designed with sheers and a casual linen create quite the focal point wall when entering the living room.

Home Update - Kitchen Refacing, New Flooring, Furniture, Area Rugs, Lighting, Glass Front Door Insert, & Custom Doggie Gate

This bungalow needed a new style and more impressive contemporary features. Deborah created a subtle nautical look to coordinate with the existing traditional furnishings  to create a sophisticated feel.

The new luxurious area rug with watery wavy colours was the statement piece that inspired the flow for the rest of the colour scheme. The existing deep sage coloured sofa that was staying needed to be work with the new look so it would look like it was new too, so the hint of the sage in the area rug did the trick! The rug also inspired the wall colour, Beacon Grey by Benjamin Moore, which allowed for a gallery like feel for all of the homeowner's nautical art pieces.

The striking Vandeusen Blue, by Benjamin Moore, was the colour for the new styled kitchen cabinetry door and drawer faces. A Super White paint colour was used for the upper cabinetry to keep the kitchen looking clean and fresh. The driftwood stained Herringbone patterned table in a solid maple complements the theme and the custom upholstered chairs add texture and their own richness that is needed being that the kitchen is beside the elegant adjacent living room.

A softer green tone for the dining walls continued bringing in the sofa tone into play. The contemporary white area rug with strong hints of the colours from the art allowed the traditional table and chairs to now fit right in with the new theme.

The final must have was a concealed custom doggie gate at the top of the curving staircase. It is perfectly matched to the railing and spindles.

Airbnb Update - Kitchen, Furniture, Decor, & Floorplan for Additional Seating

This beach front townhome Airbnb was in need of an update to earn top dollar when rented. A more impressive contemporary look was the goal. The entry of the home was right into the kitchen, so a striking piece of art was placed by a new modern table and chair set to capture the new chic beachy feel featuring chrome, glass, and driftwood looking furniture pieces.

Sturdy, durable, and easy maintenance was key for the homeowner to get great returns on the money spent on the quality commercial grade furniture for its durability.

The modern black hexagon shaped textured backsplash tiles created and instant update, allowing the owner to not have to reface the kitchen cabinetry that was still in good shape. The art piece tied in the oak cabinetry and the new backsplash while adding a bit of bling with the gold and silver accents. A durable commercial grade carpet was selected in sandy tones for the stairs so wear and tear would be very minimal over several years!

"Deborah assisted me in selecting furniture and providing decorating suggestions as we moved into a new home. She worked with the Canadian manufacturer of furniture to create a dining room table and chairs that exactly fit the space, style and colour of our home. Deborah also helped to design a bedroom dresser/entertainment console. Once again it was the ideal colour, size and style which perfectly met our needs. I highly recommend Deborah and look forward to working with her again!"

New Home Coordination of Finishes

"My husband and I purchased a new home in Sophie's Landing and were so excited, but we quickly realized that we needed the assistance of an Interior Decorator. We hired Deborah of Impressive Interiors, from Barrie. Deborah was able to coordinate a look that matched our style and needs. What was really amazing is that she did it using the 'Standard Finishes' from the builder! for our kitchen, bathroom, and flooring, so we didn't have spend more on upgrades to get what we wanted! Thanks to Deborah!"

E. Devenz, Orillia, Ontario

"Once again, I have called Deborah to the rescue and once again she has delivered, delivered, delivered! I consulted her on the building of my "spa" bathroom as well as some kitchen stools. She always takes into consideration my budget, my tight time deadlines and, after working on many projects with her, she knows my personal tastes. I am about to call in Deborah to help me work with the landscapers for my front yard - stay tuned!"
